About The Project
Partnering with Donjon Marine, Rebco managed the disposal of dredged material for this project, coordinating logistics between Donjon Marine and Hazleton Creek. Rebco moved about 280k cubic yards in about 4 months to ensure the efficient handling of materials and support the deepening of the channels, assuring that the massive ships bringing cargo into Port Newark have no interruption. Completed by December 18, 2023, this effort ensured efficient handling and disposal of materials, supporting infrastructure needs in the Newark Bay area of New Jersey, with materials moved to Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
