About The Project
This project, linked to the Department of Sanitation of New York (DSNY), involved dredging at the DSNY 59th Street site in Manhattan, New York. Working with Donjon Marine, the dredged materials were transferred to Warren County Landfill in New Jersey, meeting the landfill’s landscaping needs. Additionally, our in-house staff, and the very well managed staff at the landfill, were able to make this project beneficial to the community. This collaboration enhanced both waste management and environmental improvement at the landfill site—capping, additionally.
