The Green Universe, LLC

Rebco previously owned and operated Golden Sanitation, LLC, a company established in 1998 to serve the commercial, industrial, and residential sanitation needs of clients in New York and New Jersey. We provided rear-end packer work, self-contained and breakaway compactors, and containers for masonry, soils, lumber, and recycling materials. Our clients included Ahold Financial Services (Stop & Shop), Saker-ShopRite, Gucci USA, CB Richard Ellis, as well as the Townships of West Orange and Berkeley Heights. Golden was sold to Interstate Waste Services Inc. (IWS) in 2008, and we stayed on as consultants.

After the sale, we established The Green Universe, LLC, with Richard E. Bassi as the Sole Owner and active managing member. We have retained our NJ-DEP License 21636/A901 to haul solid waste in New Jersey. The Green Universe, LLC specializes in roll-off container work, providing containers from 10 to 40 cubic yards. One of our long-term clients is Veolia, Inc in Boonton, NJ, where we remove filter cake seven days a week to help maintain the area’s natural drinking water supply. Our team of experts is also involved in landfill closure projects in New Jersey, finding creative and viable solutions to reclaim these areas.
